Last week, our local Committee for the Republican Party offered an open to the public meeting for a free Constitutional workshop, instructor Retired Lt. Col. Lloyd Clark, who is also a recently retired school teacher.

Just from a small ad in the newspaper and a radio announcement, we had over 60 people attend! It was advertised as an hour long meeting, but lasted closer to two hours. As not all of the information was able to be covered, the audience asked to have another session. A small handbook on the Constitution was handed out to each participant without charge, although they were informed that a “kitty jar” was available for all who wished to donate.

This is the first time I have fiddled or played with frames. I am a bit disappointed with it, however. This photo was not reduced in size, except for the cropping. It still measures 2277 x 923 pixels – and look at how small it is! This must be enlarged to appreciate.

1. ARC

Yippee! I have posted a photo!!! Thanks to dear Madelaine who has been my tutor throughout this painful process with wordpress. Some one needs to talk to wordpress people and inform them their program is not very user friendly. If I weren’t between a rock and a hard place, I would have remained with blogspot. Truly!

Had a light dusting of snow earlier this week (won’t mention todays’ winter blast!). I stepped out on the back porch (protecting my camera from the cold), and snapped a few shots, then to the front porch and got this photo. Not really remembering what the January themes were. It was nice to see an ARC here in this photo, so I have at least one that fits! I had other plans for a title, but guess one title is just as good as another.

I am going to click the publish button, and hope it all works as it is supposed to work. Then I can get my other photos downloaded shortly.
